Essex Lasallians began as a football team comprising parents of students studying in St Michael's School and old boys of Lasallian schools. Hence the name Essex which is the road leading to St Michael's School and Lasallians where most of the team members had their education. (St Joseph's, St Patrick's and St Gabriel's).
